I am a security researcher, professional, presenter, and author who has focused on discovering and communicating security vulnerabilities for over 15 years. I won the first Pwn2Own contest and also co-founded the annual Pwnie Awards.

I have presented my research on software exploitation techniques, wireless security, hardware virtualization-based rootkits, and Apple platform security at conferences around the world including BlackHat, RSA, and DEFCON as well as co-authored three books on it: “iOS Hacker’s Handbook” (Wiley, 2012), “The Mac Hacker’s Handbook” (Wiley, 2009), and “The Art of Software Security Testing” (Pearson Education, 2006).
